He resides in Bujumbura, Musaga Zone, Mugere Commune, where he lives with his wife and their three children.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"580\" data-end=\"830\">A former member of the Burundian Armed Forces (ex-FAB), GAHUNGU Thad\u00e9e is currently employed as a driver with the private security company <strong>Garda World Security<\/strong>, whose headquarters are located in downtown Bujumbura, near the Public Garden.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"832\" data-end=\"1062\">In the course of his duties, he alternated between periods of service with accommodation at his workplace and periods of daily return to his family home. At the time of the incident, he was in his regular period of returning home.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1516\">According to information provided by his employer, on Friday, 16 January 2026, GAHUNGU Thad\u00e9e left his workstation at around 5:00 p.m., at the normal end of his shift, heading home. However, he never arrived at his residence. Noticing this prolonged and unusual absence, his family made several attempts to contact him via direct phone calls and WhatsApp messages, without success. His mobile phones have remained unreachable since that time.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1518\" data-end=\"1706\">The following day, in the continued absence of any contact and after noting that he had not reported to work, his supervisors also undertook efforts to reach him, likewise without success.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1708\" data-end=\"2090\">This situation raises serious concerns regarding his fate and his safety. In light of this disappearance, the family, together with the management of his workplace, are calling for the immediate intervention of the competent authorities, particularly the police, and urge any person with credible information to come forward and contribute to the establishment of the truth.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-69266da8
