Following the end of the contract between TCS and BRARUDI, workers say they were left without pay, benefits, or official recognition.<\/p><p>Over 400 workers affected <br \/>TCS began operations on September 12, 2016, and employed over 400 workers split into two categories: <br \/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060Cleaners, in charge of maintaining cleanliness inside and outside BRARUDI premises. <br \/>\u2022\u2060 \u2060&#8221;Menutensionnels&#8221;, responsible for monitoring bottles and beverages on the production lines.<\/p><p><strong>\ud83d\udd38 Unfulfilled promises and denied rights<\/strong> <br \/>Workers say that Patrick RUPARI, the former TCS director, claimed they were registered with the National Social Security Institute (INSS). However, checks with INSS showed no record of them.<\/p><p>They also claim that several workdays remain unpaid and that they have not received service certificates required for future employment.<\/p><p><strong>\ud83d\udd38Their demands:<\/strong> <br \/>1.\u2060 \u2060Compensation for four months of unpaid leave (2019\u20132022)<\/p><p>2.\u2060 \u2060Payment for six extra workdays <br \/>3.\u2060 \u2060Payment of social security contributions since 2016 <br \/>4.\u2060 \u2060Delivery of service certificates <br \/>5.\u2060 \u2060A serious, honest response from their former employer<\/p><p><strong>\ud83d\udd38Fear of impunity<\/strong> <br \/>Workers are worried that Mr. RUPARI, who holds both Burundian and Dutch nationality, might leave the country without being held accountable.<\/p><p><strong>\ud83d\udd38Call for action<\/strong> <br \/>The affected workers are appealing to relevant authorities and human rights bodies to intervene so that justice is served after
