As mentioned in our previous alert, we had informed the public about the body of little ARAKAZA Gloria, which had remained for four months at the morgue of BAHO Hospital in Kajaga after she was struck by a car on 14/01/2026.
Today, on 18/05/2026, the authorities of Mpanda Commune responded to this appeal and took all the necessary measures to ensure the child received a dignified burial at Karwema Cemetery in Mpanda Commune.
In general, citizens who had mobilized to demand a dignified burial for little Gloria say they are satisfied that the burial has finally taken place after several months of waiting.
